Yahoo Small Business, a division of Verizon Business, announced on Wednesday (Aug. 18) the expansion of its partner ecosystem to include 1-800Accountant, Constant Contact, PromoRepublic and WebCEO.
Yahoo Small Business customers will now have access to assistance with their accounting, SEO, social media marketing and email marketing needs, among other business priorities. The new partners’ services will also be available via Yahoo Small Business’ Business Maker platform, which offers tools and services such as creating business plans, forming a legal business entity, establishing an online presence and collecting payments.
“Launching a business can seem daunting, and the volume of different solutions available to entrepreneurs makes starting and managing a business even more challenging,” said Chris Wayne, managing director for Yahoo Small Business, Verizon, in the company announcement. “Having a curated list of the best services to leverage for different aspects of business management can be a game-changer.”
The recent Yahoo Small Business 2021 Microbusiness Outlook Report, a survey exploring microbusiness owners’ outlooks for 2021, more than three in five microbusiness owners (63 percent) said they invested in technology that wasn’t the right fit and 48 percent said it happened more than once.
Other services included within Business Maker include solutions from Yahoo Small Business, Verizon Business, Legal Inc., PayPal, BlueJeans, One Talk and Complete Business Bundle. With opportunities for free trials and flexible, customizable plans, Business Maker offers plans for businesses of all sizes.
Human resources software company BambooHR on Tuesday (Aug. 17) expanded its marketplace partners list with the addition of five new partners to offer time tracking, training, payroll and access control.
The cloud-based BambooHR software, which is designed for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), features a virtual marketplace of 88 vendors. New partners include learning management platform WorkRamp, conversation and data entry platform Humley, app development company Synarion and software company EnvisionBX, among others.
