Often considered a way to disburse funds to under-banked professionals, the payroll card has seen limited traction. But Automated Business Designs President and CEO Terri Roeslmeier says in today’s job climate, firms are seeking ways to retain employees across verticals.
FinTech service provider WEX is launching the WEX Pay Card to give businesses the ability to transfer money in real time 24/7, according to a press release on Thursday (Aug. 5). Customers can use the pay card where Mastercard is accepted.
“At WEX, we understand and strive to solve the challenges faced by all businesses,” said Erin Knight, vice president of product and innovation at WEX.
Praetura Group has rolled out a new financial division to help small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to access flexible finance, the company announced in a Thursday (Aug. 5) press release. Called Praetura Invoice Finance (PIF), it will be led by Managing Director Ray Lowrey.
